So you love what I’m saying. Or you don’t. And you want to tell me about it.

Either way, I get it.

  1. I have just found your site. I wish I had found it sooner. Who knows, perhaps I did and it did not register. Lots got by me in the dark, early days. My twin boys were born at 24 weeks, exactly, on Christmas Day 2010, due to PROM and infection. One son would live for 75 days. The other came home after 109 days in the NICU, and seems to be thriving. He was resuscitated for 27 minutes at birth, so all milestones are miracles. We are also an ambassador family for the MOD and run a charity called PIrate Power. I will add your blog to our list of resources because you have a wonderful way of explaining and cutting to the heart of the matter. So many of your posts have resonated with me. Thank you, and hug CA for me!

  2. Hey Amanda,
I don’t know if you remember me. I knew you freshman year at BYU. I’m a friend of Kate Lowe’s from Hawaii. Anyway, I saw a link to your blog that someone “liked” on Facebook and started reading through all of it. Just wanted to say thanks for each of the sections. My baby has been out of the NICU for a long time now, but this was a great reminder of what it was all like and how scary it can be. I especially appreciate the tips on how to help parents of a NICU baby. It was a good reminder for me of things I can do to help. You are so sweet, and strong, and your little CA is an angel. Congratulations on such a sweet baby girl🙂
